Every gemstone, rough stone, and mineral specimen we sell is 100% natural and genuine unless explicitly described otherwise, and every stone's origin and treatment are fully disclosed. No exceptions.

Independent Laboratory Certification

For our fine and investment-grade gemstones, we rely on reports from the world's most respected independent laboratories. These institutions analyse each stone with advanced spectroscopy and microscopy to confirm identity, determine origin, and detect treatment:

• GRS (GemResearch Swisslab) — renowned for coloured-stone origin and treatment reports, and for trade colour grades such as "Royal Blue" and "Pigeon's Blood."
• SSEF (Swiss Gemmological Institute) — a global authority on origin determination for ruby, sapphire, and emerald.
• Gübelin Gem Lab — among the most trusted names in origin and treatment analysis.
• AGL (American Gemological Laboratories) — leading US coloured-stone laboratory.
• GIA (Gemological Institute of America) — the global standard for diamond grading and gem identification.

Where a stone is accompanied by a laboratory report, the issuing lab and report number are shown on its product page, and the original certificate ships with your purchase so you can verify it directly with the lab.

Our Verification Process

Before any stone reaches your hands, it passes through a rigorous internal review by our gemmologists:

• Identification: We confirm species and variety, and verify that natural stones are natural — never synthetic or simulant.
• Origin assessment: Inclusion scenery and trace-element chemistry are reviewed against laboratory findings to confirm geographic origin.
• Treatment analysis: Heat, oiling, diffusion, fracture filling, and any other enhancement are identified and disclosed, drawn from independent reports wherever they exist.
• Documentation review: Certificates and report numbers are checked for completeness and verified against the issuing laboratory's database.

If You Have Concerns

We stand behind every stone we sell — fully and without reservation. If you ever have a question about the authenticity, origin, or treatment of an item purchased from MineralsHub:

• Contact our authenticity team at authenticity@mineralshub.co with your order number and a description of your concern.
• We will respond within one business day with the stone's full provenance and certification documentation.
• If you remain unsatisfied, we will arrange independent re-examination by a major laboratory at our expense.
• In the unlikely event that any stone is found not to be as described, we will issue a full refund including all shipping costs.
